Lewes, DE August 29, 2018-Fernmoor Homes hosted a ribbon-cutting earlier this week for Mendocino West at Vineyards. The luxury development features the first new condos in Lewes in several years and a response to high demand in the area’s real estate market.
The project is located along Route 9 in Lewes, a popular Delaware beach market.
“There have been very few new condo communities built here in Lewes over the past several years and many buyers have expressed to us their disappointment about this shortage,” said Carol Smith-Gephart, director of sales and marketing for Fernmoor. “We’ve already pre-sold six of our Mendocino West condos in the last 30 days and we haven’t even started construction yet — which goes to show you how desirable this type of offering is in Lewes.”
The new condos will start at $205,900 and feature two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a den (available in some units), and premium finishes, including granite countertops, ceramic tile, walk-in closets, balconies, stainless steel appliances and natural gas.
The project will join Monterey West at Vineyards (single-family homes starting from $309,900), Napa at Vineyards (future carriage homes) and Mi-Place™ at Vineyards (luxury apartments), each of which offer housing options within a short drive of Rehoboth and Lewes beaches.
