(Absecon, N.J.) On May 24, 2017, Absecon Mayor John Armstrong, Fernmoor Homes President Jeffrey Fernbach and Stan Koreyva, COO and Executive VP, Amboy Bank officially opened Mi-Place™ at the Shore, a pet-friendly community of luxury townhomes and apartments for lease in Absecon, N.J. The community brings new life to a property that was previously owned by another developer, and which stood largely vacant for years.
“I had the opportunity to tour the clubhouse, and if the work here is reflective of the entire project, then this is a development that will benefit Absecon,” said Mayor Armstrong. “I would like for our residents to have an opportunity to tour and see for themselves.”
The first residents have already moved into Mi-Place™ at the Shore, which features one or two bedroom apartments and two or three bedroom townhomes. Fernmoor communities are known for their vibrant lifestyle, and Mi-Place™ at the Shore will continue this tradition of fun. At its hub are spectacular lifestyle amenities, where neighbors can meet and socialize and discover a real sense of community. Amenities include a spacious clubhouse, a fitness center with an aerobics/yoga/Zumba room, billiards, an outdoor pool, a dog park, and a horseshoe and quoits pit. The clubhouse overlooks the pond and the pool with its expansive patio, barbecue and lounge area.
“The first new building opened to rave reviews from our residents, who are enjoying being the first renters in a brand new apartment with beautiful luxury features,” said Jeffrey Fernbach. “They’ve already begun to meet the neighbors, and everyone is looking forward to summer parties at the pool, game nights and events for our furry friends.”
Residents may choose from townhomes and apartments with the most desired luxury features, such as granite kitchen counters, a full appliance package including a full-size electric washer and a dryer, stainless steel kitchen appliances, 12 x 12 tile floors in the bathrooms, carpet in the bedrooms, dens available, open floorplans, and individual patios or balconies. Homes are energy efficient with natural gas heating, central air conditioning and a tankless gas hot water heater.
On-site storage rental is available in both the building and the clubhouse at very reasonable rates. There’s on-site garage parking for some apartments and all townhomes, and apartment buildings feature elevators. Management and maintenance is on-site for added convenience.
The community’s location, close to Route 9 and the Garden State Parkway, will be attractive to professionals who work in Atlantic County, and those who want to be close to the Jersey shore. Mi-Place™ at the Shore is a short drive from Stockton University, AtlantiCare, the Federal Aviation Administration, Atlantic City, N.J., and the area’s beaches and boardwalks.
Mi-Place™ at the Shore is located at 7 Stoneybrook Drive, Absecon, N.J. (off of Pitney Road near Connecticut Avenue). The Leasing office is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., but closed on Friday and Saturday.
